Unikool.it stories. Raffaele Pagliaro: Unikool is now a platform that combines together the needs of foreign customers and designers with the Italian manufacturing sector, and by this I mean goods entirely made in Italy, and this can only be welcome.

Si-energy originates from a basic key concept, which I first thought of and my partner took on board. Indeed, there is perfect synergism between the two of us. She owns and runs a workshop through which we are developing other synergetic projects with a number of independent entities, each having their role in a complete production chain.

What we are willing to do, and are doing on a daily basis, is expand the processing range, to better serve our customers. Indeed, we are fully in favour of the concept of business network.

Today there is no great talk of business networks, but they will probably be the future because they favour the provision of full range of services without increasing the burden on a single production unit. We are mainly focused on technical jackets, from duvets to heat-sealed models with laser-printed details.

As regards the remaining operating phases, for the range of services to be complete, we use our well-established external partners. The concept of harmony lies at the heart of our synergetic work with them and our logo suggests exactly that. As for quality, it is obvious that, as we work for specific brands we keep a watchful eye on the details of each item of clothing. This is obviously the added value that we offer our customers.

Ethics is a personal concept and is also a seed that you will plant in your relationships. However, it is also a concept that needs to be validated by certifications, which are now increasingly becoming a requirement. We are among the first in the Veneto region to have obtained certification for our products attesting that they are entirely manufactured in Italy. If and when an itemised label will be introduced, where the material composition will be shown, we will be ready and well ahead. We hope that this will be the future of our work.

Unikool is now a platform that combines together the needs of foreign customers and designers with the Italian manufacturing sector, and by this I mean goods entirely made in Italy, and this can only be welcome. As a result, we hope this trend will grow more because it is part and parcel of a new approach that meets the real needs of the manufacturing industry.
