Unikool.it stories. The story of Nathalie Thompson: a surface pattern and textiles designer from Poole in the UK.
I’m Nathalie Thompson and I founded Nadderzique Freelance Textile Design in 2003 after graduating from Central St Martin’s School of Art & Design.
Nadderzique produces print designs for brands and labels across a range of products including fashion, footwear, interiors, stationery and paper products.
Affiliated to Winchester School of Art as Printed Textiles Technician, I am Founder and Head of Design for PYNQ Men’s fashion accessories label.
PYNQ offers exquisite and diverse range of impeccable men’s fashion accessories including pocket squares, cravats, ties and bow ties to make that outfit stand out. PYNQ unique pocket square collection is proudly designed, printed and hand-rolled in the UK.
I have designed bespoke shoes from specially created designs printed to fabric. This has included commissions for the film industry and high street accessory collections. I also teach textile design printing to fashion and textile students. Right now I have a number of current projects involving new product ranges and outlets. At Nadderzique Textile Design there is a steady flow of freelance work both home and abroad. I am happy to entertain the idea of commercial partnership to complement and share skills if this works commercially.
I think that making solid and consistent collaboration is the most difficult issue for a fashion designer, because this is a very competitive field!
Right now I’m selling my works online, indeed I have an online presence through my websites and on Etsy. I’m on social networks too.

I think Unikool is an exciting and excellent opportunity for emerging brands which I hope will be embraced widely.
